£15,000 compensation for an accident at work
We helped a man claim compensation following a serious accident at work.
He was working as a pallet truck driver when a steel barrier bar, which had been left in the upright position, fell onto his hand, causing injury. It seemed that the vibration must have caused the bar to fall as someone had failed to secure it with the pin.
He sustained an injury to his ring finger. The injury was so severe that he had to have continual physiotherapy to try and straighten the finger. As a result, he was off work for six months.
We presented the case to his employer and secured £15,000 compensation for his injuries.
