We acted for the child who was almost two years old at the time of the accident, which took place in a Burger King restaurant.

The child’s mother had taken the child into a baby changing facility. She was using the lavatory and the child was standing next to her. As the mother pulled on the toilet roll,  the metal casing around the toilet roll holder fell from the wall, hitting the child on the face. Upon investigation, it was revealed that the toilet roll holder casing had not been locked and secured in place, as it should have been.
