We won £10,000 compensation for a lady injured during a horse riding lesson.

Our client was riding her horse in the presence of the horse riding instructor. Her instructor passed a young horse to an inexperienced rider which became spooked, which in turn spooked our client’s horse, causing her to fall off it.

She sustained an injury to her lower back and her coccyx – she was required to undergo two operations and had time off work.

When we presented the claim to the defendant’s, they initially denied liability but after we negotiated with them they made an offer and we secured £10,000 compensation which she was happy with.
