Our client booked at her local beauty salon for an eyebrow treatment.

They gave her a patch test one evening and booked her in for the treatment the following lunch time and told her this would be fine, despite the website stating that a client should wait 24 hours after the patch test before having the treatment.

She went for the treatment and later on felt the area where she was patch tested become irritated. A few hours later her eyebrows became red and swollen and they remained painful for a few days.

We presented the claim to the salon who accepted it was their fault and we received £1,500 in compensation for our client.
